Narain Bala is the Founder of Product On Point, a cutting-edge Product Development Studio specializing in Websites, Apps, and SaaS solutions. With extensive experience spanning diverse industries, Narain is a seasoned product manager known for his expertise in start-up leadership, user experience optimization, and software product management. He holds an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by master's degrees in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Arlington and Information Technology from SRM University.
As a Featured Speaker at Product School, Narain inspired the next generation of Product Managers, sharing insights and best practices gleaned from his career. His leadership roles include Principal Product Manager at CNN + SpendHQ, where he spearheaded product strategy and development initiatives, driving business growth and enhancing customer experience. Prior to this, Narain served in pivotal roles at The Weather Channel, WebMD, and Sprint, where he led product management and development efforts, achieving significant milestones in revenue growth, user experience enhancement, and customer retention.

Austin Norris is the Lead UX/UI Designer at Product on Point. With experience spanning over a decade, his journey began with various contract positions, where he showcased his skills across e-commerce, automotive, and web design spaces. Austin's dedication and proficiency led him to full-time roles, including significant stints with Steeda Autosports, Living Fresh & Valley Forge Fabrics, and Harland Clarke Digital, where he served as a Senior UX/UI Designer, shaping digital experiences with finesse and creativity.
With an insatiable curiosity and commitment to excellence, Austin has continuously evolved, taking on diverse challenges in the realm of user experience and interface design. His tenure with NASCAR as a UI Developer and SpendHQ as a Lead UX/UI Designer further solidified his expertise, enriching his understanding of user behavior and industry best practices. Austin's contributions extend beyond individual projects; his collaborative spirit and leadership have inspired teams to push boundaries and deliver outstanding results.

Laura Baston is an experienced Software Developer with a rich background spanning companies of all sizes. She is a strong engineering professional specializing in Full-Stack development with expertise in JavaScript, React, the MERN stack, Node.js, and AWS. Laura is always open to learning new technologies and thrives on creating innovative solutions and solving complex problems.
At MURAL, Laura served as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2021 to February 2024, honing her skills in API development, front-end technologies, TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js. Prior to this, she worked at SalesVista from December 2020 to June 2021, where she focused on API and front-end development. Her tenure at WarnerMedia from September 2019 to December 2020 further developed her expertise in these areas while working at CNN. Additionally, Laura worked on a contract basis with Vaco at Turner/CNN from February 2019 to September 2019, emphasizing front-end development.
Earlier in her career, Laura gained experience at DigitalCrafts as a Developer in Residence (TA) from January 2019 to February 2019, where she assisted students in learning front-end web development. She also worked as a React and React Native Developer at ThingTech from September 2017 to November 2018, and took on full project ownership as a React Native Developer at Mobile App Hero from August 2017 to September 2017. Her role as a Junior Mentor at Thinkful from April 2017 to September 2017 involved guiding students in front-end development, showcasing her ability to teach and mentor.
Laura's educational background includes completing a Full-Stack Bootcamp at Thinkful from 2016 to 2017, where she mastered HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, Node.js, Express, and APIs. She holds a BFA in Art History from Georgia State University, where she was actively involved in the Art History Student League and Art Student Union. Laura's journey from a sales background to a tech career demonstrates her versatility and passion for continuous learning and adaptation. Her portfolio showcases her ability to tackle diverse challenges and deliver impactful solutions.

As a copywriter, brand storytelling is what Lauren does best. She has 14 years of advertising experience, 5 years of business leadership experience as a Creative Director at Dedica NY and Estee Lauder, and 6 years at the helm of Sweat Vacay.
In the agency world, she created about a quarter of the American Market work for L’Oreal Paris in her employ at McCann NY. This includes a mix of traditional, digital, and social work for US and global campaigns across brand, cosmetics, skin care, haircare, and hair color.
Lauren is a big-picture creative with deep roots in strategy. As the founding creative of the digital and social arm of McCann, she helped grow the team and its capabilities from 1 client – General Mills, to within 2 years, touching every client in the McCann NY portfolio. Within 4 years, the business model was so successful, the program was rolled out to all 136 global McCann markets. Much of her time on this team was spent with our reps from Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, and many others, participating in hackathons devised to understand and stretch the possibilities of their emerging tech, ad units, and test programs. Tapping into culturally relevant conversations, seeing what the competitive is putting out there, and understanding the customers’ online behavior has helped her to create the digital experiences that drive sales.
Lauren had experience working with managing teams of creatives, creators, and producers. Her most recent spot for Coca-Cola + AMC Theatres is a perfect example of coordinating teams across 4 cities on 3 continents to come together to get all the film in the can.
She is pleased to be joining the Product on Point Creative Team as their content lead.
